European Tour and Licking Lollipops

A Triple ‘Tone birthday celebration hangover saw Lachie, Mike and Timmy celebrating their various birthdays with Mark and Darren before leaving the UK a couple of days later to travel to Milan for London Live, and the start of the European promotion of “Good Ol’ Fashioned Love.”  Prego.

From Milan it was a short hop to Switzerland and a return to Kaufleuten in Zurich, venue of their January gig in the town. But this time it was Ladies Night, and a thousand Swiss women were ready and waiting for some post-Valentine’s Day Good Ol’ Fashioned Love. Shy boy Darren was nervously anticipating the reaction:

“Performing to a 1000 ladies tonight! I know its a hard life…someone’s gotta do it ay? D”

A couple of interviews were recorded for Hit Parade and Radio Sunshine, and then onwards to Lausanne, from whence Lachie tweeted:

“Gosh Lausanne is a pretty city… Long time no tweet – I have WIFI issues! Heading off to do a showcase at Club D. Should be a hoot. Lx”

Google Translate suggests tonight is “Lick My Lollipop” night with “the showcase of The Overtones”. This sounds fun and should be brought to the UK. Who wouldn’t want to lick an Overtones’ lollipop?

Birthday drinks for Timmy await the boys after the gig. Who knows, there may even be a birthday lollipop treat from the chupa chaps.
